A total of 94 men lost their lives during the construction of this massive structure and today the Hoover Dam is a National Historic Landmark, Nevada's number one sightseeing attraction, the tallest structure of its kind in the world, and one of America's Seven Modern Civil Engineering Wonders.

The Powerplant Tour offers a combination of presentations by Reclamation guides, audio and film presentations, exhibits and other media that provide a comprehensive view of the massive dam and its operations, as well as highlight many of the unique features around the site.
The last stop is at the world famous Ethyl M's Chocolate Factory (home of the Mars bar) and Botanical Gardens (morning tour only). You'll have 20-30 minutes here to sample their candy, purchase some treats or take a walk in the garden.
